AWS Cloud Data Engineer (W2 Contract) - McKinney, TX (Onsite 3 Days/Week)Position Overview:
Join our innovative team as an
AWS Cloud Data Engineer
and play a key role in driving the future of Cloud Data Management and Advanced Analytics! We are looking for a highly skilled technical expert who is passionate about leveraging cloud technologies to help our organization scale, secure, and optimize its data-driven infrastructure. This is a
long-term contract role , exclusively open to
W2 employees -located in
McKinney, TX , with a hybrid schedule of
3 days a week onsite .Please note: Visa sponsorship is not available for this role.What You'll Do:Architect and support cutting-edge Cloud Data Management and Advanced Analytics solutions.Lead and guide the design, implementation, and monitoring of secure Data Lakes and Enterprise Data Warehouses.Partner with Data Services, Analysts, and Scientists to ensure high-performance, secure, and scalable cloud infrastructures.Provide technical guidance on AWS best practices to multiple teams and support process improvement initiatives.Key Responsibilities:Design and implement secure cloud-based data solutions.Develop and enforce data security protocols for cloud infrastructures.Collaborate with leadership to improve cloud processes and spearhead strategic cloud initiatives.Offer support and guidance to development teams on AWS Products and Services.What You Bring:Strong coding/scripting experience
with Python.Experience with converting Mainframe binary files
(EBCDIC to ASCII) is a plus.Hands-on expertise
with a wide range of AWS services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, Glue, CloudWatch, IAM, etc.Solid understanding of
AWS Data Management tools
and Cloud Security, including IAM roles, policies, and encryption methodologies.Experience designing and deploying
CloudFormation Templates
(CFTs).Familiarity with
AWS networking concepts
such as VPC, NAT, ACL, Direct Connect, and VPN.Bonus Skills:
