Overview

Guardian is seeking a Specialist to support and enhance Workday Talent Management, while working as part of the team responsible for providing technology to the Human Resources department.

You are:

As a Sr. Workday Configuration Specialist, you will work closely with the business areas to define and deliver HR technology strategy and will be involved in a range of other HR transformational projects including HR technology strategy, process redesign/standardization, and merger and integration support. You will lead at least two or more of Workday's modules comprised of Total Rewards Compensation as primary and one of the other Workday modules Core HCM, Benefits, Recruiting, Performance, Learning, Payroll, Time & Absence, Security .

For each of the Workday modules that you oversee, you will be accountable for all the following:Developing a trusted advisor relationship with business contacts through effective communication and efficient, quality execution of projects.Serving as primary, daily contact to business owners on delivery of services.Ensuring delivery of high-quality services and products to HR business.Design and build Workday solutions in Compensation space.Perform Impact analysis with clear outcomes and get alignment from all parties involved.Preparing and Supporting end to end Annual Compensation Planning cycle and mid year compensation cycles for the companyBuilding relationships internally and collaborating effectively on cross-functional teams.Demonstrating natural ease and effectiveness when dealing with clients/colleagues at all levels.In addition, there will be specific regular events and strategic/operational projects that correlate to each individual Workday module which you will manage and/or support such as:Setting up and using project management processes/systems for work stream (includes planning the life cycle of the project, identifying key project activities and milestones).Gathering requirements.Leading configuration design sessions.Developing product configuration based on best practices and performing unit testing.Creating/Managing the testing strategy while collaborating with QA testing team and UAT testers.Partnering with User Enablement/HR Communications to update training and other delivery tools.You have:

Demonstrated ability supporting enterprise HR applications with 10 years of work experience.Seven or more years of demonstrated expert-level proficiency in Workday HCM and Core/Advanced Compensation experience with the following - plans, incentive plans, comp packages, components, eligibility, grids etc., statements, impacts to payroll and interconnections to other modules ).Expert knowledge and direct experience of Workday annual compensation planning cycles, compensation configuration and integration required.Ability to enable and enhance the Compensation modules with new setup, new functionality for all kinds of business needs.Workday Report Writer a plus.Understanding of Workday data, overall flow of Compensation process, data flow between modules and integrations to other systems.Expert-level proficiency with MS Excel.Exceptional oral and written communication skills.Ability to drive discussions to closure, aligning cross functional groups with an accountability attitude.Exceptional critical thinking skills with strong attention to detail; keen ability to multi-task and prioritize work deliverables as needs evolve.Demonstrated ability to lead complex multi-functional technical project deliverables.Demonstrated understanding of the concepts of HR service deliveryBachelor's Degree required.Nice to Have Skills -

Working in an agile environment.Divestiture, merger experience.Familiarity with Corporate Governance processes related to new applications, SSO, Information security governance and risk assessments.Location

Hybrid: Two Days a week in our Holmdel, NJ, New York, NY or Bethlehem, Pa offices, and Three days a week remote.Salary Range$114,080.00 - $187,415.00

The salary range reflected above is a good faith estimate of base pay for the primary location of the position. The salary for this position ultimately will be determined based on the education, experience, knowledge, and abilities of the successful candidate. In addition to salary, this role may also be eligible for annual, sales, or other incentive compensation.
