Amazon
Software Development Engineer - EKS, AWS Controllers for Kubernetes
Amazon, Seattle, Washington, us, 98127
Description
Do you love decomposing problems to develop products that impact millions of people around the world? Would you enjoy identifying, defining, and building software solutions that revolutionize how businesses operate?
AWS Utility Computing (UC) provides product innovations — from foundational services such as Amazon’s Simple Storage Service (S3) and Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2), to consistently released new product innovations that continue to set AWS’s services and features apart in the industry. As a member of the UC organization, you’ll support the development and management of Compute, Database, Storage, Internet of Things (Iot), Platform, and Productivity Apps services in AWS, including support for customers who require specialized security solutions for their cloud services.
The EKS team at Amazon Web Services (AWS) is looking for a Software Development Engineer II to build, deliver, and maintain complex products that delight our customers and raise our performance bar. You’ll design fault-tolerant systems that run at massive scale as we continue to innovate best-in-class services and applications in the AWS Cloud.
Join the innovative team at Elastic Kubernetes Service (EKS) where we are focusing on the integration of Kubernetes with AWS through the AWS Controllers for Kubernetes (ACK) project. ACK enables users to define and utilize AWS service resources directly from Kubernetes, streamlining the management of cloud native applications. With ACK, managing supporting capabilities such as databases or message queues becomes ‘kube-fied’, enhancing the efficiency and scalability of Kubernetes workloads.
As a member of our dynamic team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of containerized computing, enabling our customers to leverage the full potential of Kubernetes and AWS services seamlessly.
