This is a remote, work from home opportunity and you may be based outside of the great Chicagoland area.In this role, the Integration Programmer (TIBCO) - Intermediate, formulates and defines project scope and objectives through research and fact-finding to develop or modify in-house developed applications and/or programs. Is competent to work on most phases of application development lifecycle activities that include design and code but requires instruction and guidance in other phases of the project development lifecycle, such as Analysis, Test, and Conversion. This position is responsible for documenting and supporting these in-house developed applications and/or programs. This person will develop, configure, and support Integration components using TIBCO integration platform BW, EMS, CEP, Active Spaces, and Managed File Transfer.Essential Job FunctionsParticipates in system development lifecycle activities as assigned: design, code, test and debug, document and maintain these programs with general supervisionDevelop detailed program specifications while ensuring that expected application performance levels are achieved by managing interfaces, service levels, standards, and configurationsDevelop, unit tests, debugs, documents, and maintains TIBCO integration componentsCollaborate closely with teams in all stages of software development lifecycle including design, development, and testing of the systemEstablish, refine, and integrate development and test environment tools and software as neededConfigure and maintain MFT (Managed File Transfer) profilesProvides applications support, and works with vendors and infrastructure team members to support more complex issuesParticipates in projects leveraging a mature SDLC from analysis and requirements documentation, design, test plan development, testing, and launch of applicable system elementsThink strategically using data to drive decisions and solutionsMay perform research and fact-finding to develop or modify moderately complex information systemsParticipate in scheduled weekend and evening on call support rotationMonitor operating efficiency and organizational needs of existing application systems, and identify opportunities to fine-tune and optimize applications of developed projects and recommend technical solutionsDemonstrates proficiency in the use of methodologies and standards as established through the Project Management Office (PMO)Troubleshoots application system problems and makes improvements as neededAnalyzes and implements/develops solutions for production or testing problems, and seeks support when necessaryIdentifies and documents standards for operating the application or programFollows and implements change control standards and procedureQualificationsAssociate or bachelors degree in computer science or technical area preferred, or equivalent training or work experienceTwo (2) years of directly applicable experience in systems analysis, programming, and technical designMinimum one (1) year experience in technical documentation writingProven skills in problem solvingAbility to thrive in high-pressure environments by exemplifying outstanding technical, analytical, management, and problem-solving skillsMust work well in a team environment and be able to partner with both business and technical team membersExcellent oral and written communication skills and good interpersonal skills requiredExperience in a health care environment helpfulProficiency in the programming language /tools used in the position requiredPreferred QualificationsHands-on experience creating, validating, and consuming WSDL, SOAP, WADL RESTful APIs, FHIR services, JSON, OAuth, Message Queue, Integration/File transfer patterns, and SQL experience with stored procedures / Database triggers.Hands-on experience in managed file transfer protocols and technologies such as FTP, SFTP, FTPS, SSH, SSL, HTTPS, AS2, and secure file transfer methodologiesFamiliarity with PGP and SFTP/SSH encryption algorithms, data security, and compliance standardsStrong understanding of batch job scheduling concepts, tools, and frameworksExperience with source control and CI/CD tools (Azure, GitHub, and Jenkins), YAML, Programming Languages, Java, UNIX Shell scripting, and XML technologies including XSLT, XPATH, XSD.Basic understanding of HL7 standardsPosition DetailsJob Type/FTE: Full Time (1.0 FTE)Shift: DaysJob Location: RemoteUnit/Department: IT Enterprise Architecture - Hyde ParkCBA Code: Non-Union
