ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop and automate solutions that improve efficiency, scalability and reliability of our cloud infrastructure.Design, implement, and manage scalable cloud-based infrastructure solutions using platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.Deploy, configure, and maintain various cloud services (e.g., virtual machines, containers, serverless functions, databases) as per project requirements.Monitor and troubleshoot issues related to cloud infrastructure, performance, and security.Collaborate with development teams to establish CI/CD pipelines, enabling efficient software deployments and updates.Develop and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) to automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management.Conduct regular security assessments and implement best practices for securing cloud infrastructure, data, and applications.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to architect and implement highly available and scalable cloud-based solutions.Optimize cloud resources, leveraging cost management tools and techniques to ensure maximum efficiency and cost-effectiveness.Stay up to date with the latest cloud technologies, trends, and best practices.Participate in the evaluation, selection, and adoption of new cloud services and technologies.

Experience & EducationMasters/Bachelor's degree in Information & Computer Science, Statistics or a quantitative discipline in science.3+ years of cloud and automation experience in Cloud and automation tools such as Azure DevOps.3+ years' experience working in automation and DevOps.2+ years' experience with Scripting languages for Azure (ARM, CLI, PowerShell, Terraform, etc)3+ years of architecture design, implementation, and support of highly distributed setups (ensure high availability and reliability)1+ years of experience in migrating on-premises workloads to the public cloud.

Technical Skills & CompetenciesStrong understanding of cloud, automation, and infrastructureStrong understanding of infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or ARM templates.Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) for automation and orchestration tasks.Familiarity with CI/CD concepts and tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab, CircleCI).Hands-on experience with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes.Understanding of networking concepts, security best practices, and data privacy in the cloud.Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in a cloud environment.Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.Proven track record of driving decisions collaboratively and follow through.Have excellent problem-solving skills utilizing both internal and external resources to get the job done. Work through issues and challengesAbility to do technical design and documentation.Have excellent technical leadershipSelf-starter and motivator and ability to work in team and also with minimal direction.
