SUMMARY

The Civil Technical Project Manager will collaborate with project teams on civil engineering and associated technical tasks. This position predominantly centers on the renewable energy and power delivery sectors, with the flexibility to expand into other areas when required. Responsibilities encompass executing tasks related to civil design, supporting engineers and clients in the progression of solar projects, creating construction documentation, conducting site assessments, feasibility studies, road design, grading, compiling technical reports, and fulfilling various additional assignments. Additionally, this position may involve contributing to project management functions.

The position is located in Eden Prairie, MN. Hybrid or remote location considered.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITESResponsible for CAD drafting and plan production using EVS standardsComplete redlines and perform basic aspects of designWorks to understand EVS' quality program and applies these principles to all project workResponsible for checking work as well as other engineers' designs and calculations, to ensure alignment to quality assurance and control requirementsActively participates in and contributes to department and project team discussionsQUALIFICATIONS

3+ years of civil engineering experience within the solar industry requiredExperience with and knowledge of CAD - C3D highly preferredSelf-starter, frequent and ongoing training to learn new design software and techniquesKnowledge of basic engineering principlesDemonstrated ability and desire to improve quality and create efficienciesProficient in Microsoft Excel and general management of dataAbility to work effectively in a fast-paced environmentExcellent organizational and time management skillsPositive and professional attitudeBENEFITS FOR FULL TIME EMPLOYEES
