Oracle Architect

Oracle Architect to join our dynamic team. The Oracle Architect will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and managing our Oracle database systems and applications. This role requires a deep understanding of Oracle technologies, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.Key Responsibilities:Architectural Design:
Design and implement robust Oracle database architectures that meet business requirements and ensure high availability, scalability, and performance.Database Management:
Oversee the installation, configuration, and maintenance of Oracle database systems. Ensure optimal database performance through monitoring, tuning, and troubleshooting.Data Security:
Implement and manage database security measures, including user access control, data encryption, and backup/recovery procedures.Project Management:
Lead and participate in Oracle database projects, including migrations, upgrades, and new implementations. Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.Collaboration:
Work closely with development, operations, and business teams to understand requirements and provide technical guidance. Facilitate communication between stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.Documentation:
Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for database architectures, configurations, processes, and procedures.Technology Evaluation:
Stay current with Oracle technologies and industry trends. Evaluate and recommend new tools, technologies, and best practices to improve database systems.Mentorship:
Provide guidance and mentorship to junior database administrators and other technical staff. Share knowledge and promote a culture of continuous learning.Required Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Advanced degrees or relevant certifications (e.g., Oracle Certified Professional) are a plus.Experience:
Minimum of 8 years of experience in Oracle database administration and architecture. Proven experience in designing and managing large-scale Oracle database systems.Technical Skills:
Proficiency in Oracle Database versions 12c, 18c, 19c, and newer.Strong knowledge of Oracle RAC, Data Guard, ASM, and GoldenGate.Experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) is highly desirable.Expertise in SQL, PL/SQL, and performance tuning.Familiarity with Oracle Enterprise Manager and other monitoring tools.
Soft Skills:
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Project management skills with the ability to lead and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with other database technologies (e.g., SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL).Knowledge of data warehousing and big data solutions.Experience with automation and scripting (e.g., Python, Shell scripting).Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.Benefits:
