Your Role

Are you ready to be a part of the Financial Services Industry, where cutting-edge technology can deliver a competitive advantage? As an AWS Solutions Architect, you are responsible for designing and implementing enterprise infrastructure and platforms required for running our workloads in AWS. You will work with cloud engineers and application teams to design and deploy infrastructure required. You'll also deliver proof-of-concept projects, topical workshops, and lead implementation projects. Our team collaborates across the entire Invesco organization to bring access to product and service teams, to get the right solution delivered and drive future innovation based upon our business needs.

You will be responsible for:

Lead and collaborate with application teams, guiding them through our Cloud Infrastructure Delivery process to ensure seamless implementation of AWS solutions. Analyze business requirements and translate them into innovative technical solutions that leverage approved AWS services and supporting infrastructure to enable our Application & Data Solution Architecture. Produce clear and concise diagrams and narratives that vividly describe your solutions, demonstrating how they meet business requirements while adhering to our technology governance guidelines. Foster positive relationships and effective communication with key partners, including business partners, Application leads, and other Infrastructure functions (Engineering, Operations, etc.). Collaborate closely with various stakeholders, such as business users, project managers, developers, enterprise architecture, data architecture, testers, and operations teams, leveraging strong communication skills to facilitate effective translation of business requirements into technical designs. Take a holistic approach, considering the big picture and aligning the technical solution with the overall business goals and objectives. Anticipate future needs and design scalable architectures that ensure long-term success and integrity of the entire solution. The experience you bring: 10+ years of experience in information technology 2-3 years proven track record as an AWS Solutions Architect or Senior Cloud Engineer role Hands-on experience leading the design, development, and deployment of business software at scale on AWS Experience with software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile/iterative methodologies required Experience with IT compliance and risk management requirements (eg. security, privacy, GDPR) Strong Knowledge of the primary AWS services (EC2, EKS, RDS, Route53 & S3). Infrastructure automation through DevOps scripting (E.g. Terraform, Python, PowerShell). Ability to work in a team environment. Hybrid model with 3 days in office per week. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize work, and meet deadlines. Practical AWS skill in Management Console, AWS CLI, and supporting technologies. Experience in AWS Well Architected Framework and Tool Relevant certifications such as TOGAF/Agile are preferred. AWS Solution Architect required or obtain within 3 months of hire. A Master's of Business Administration in a related field is helpful or commensurate relevant work experience Full Time / Part Time
