Job DescriptionThe ServiceNow Senior Developer will be part of all the discussions for any client requirement implementation in ServiceNow. This individual will work with enterprise architect, business representatives, process owners, to gather technical, functional, process requirements as needed. Plays a key role in identifying the assessment of requirements and possible best suited OOTB modules/functions/plugins needed to meet the requirements. The also involves providing the plan for implementation strategy with estimated duration.Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to,
Work with process owners to understand the process requirements related to the capture of configuration data and develop technical specifications and solutionsShowcasing ServiceNow OOTB capabilities through demonstrationsProvide visibility to the performance and issues across ServiceNow platformWork with SIEM platform SMEs to create and validate solutionsWork with Stakeholders and understand the associated processes for implementationReview the data being populated into the CMDB and act as partial owner of the CMDBDoes hands on development on the platform
Qualifications:
Minimum of 6+ years' experience with ServiceNowMinimum of 4+ years' experience in Security Operations Area with exposure on Vulnerability Response and Threat intelligenceDeep understanding of the configuration management database (CMDB), IT Service Management (ITSM) processes and their value/relevance to Security solutionsGood hands on Experience with integration with common SIEM tools and integrating ServiceNow SecOps with these tools (ex. Splunk, Qualys, Tenable etc.)Develop and modify ServiceNow workflows, flows, forms, lists, business rules, UI components, web services, tables, and menus.Expertise with scripting languages such as PERL, JavaScript, Python, or ShellWeb service proficiency (REST, SOAP) as well as XML and JSON knowledgeExcellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to formulate and communicate highly technical and complex Security concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences in a clear and effective mannerServiceNow Certified System Administrator (Mandatory)ServiceNow Security Incident Response Implementation (Mandatory)ServiceNow Vulnerability Response Implementation (Preferable)
