Read on to find out!About the Position: We are currently seeking a Senior Firmware Engineer who not only excels in technical prowess but also inspires and leads by example. We are looking for a team player with an analytical mindset who can undertake firmware development efforts and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams (hardware, software, and systems). This is a great opportunity for an ambitious candidate with a desire to grow his or her technical leadership skills.Responsibilities: Technical Leadership: Design, develop, and maintain embedded firmware based on product and hardware specifications, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration. Serve as a technical resource to both the team and management. Collaborative Influence: Work closely with product managers, hardware engineers, and software developers to complete project objectives on schedule. Team Oriented: Interact with the firmware team, and department at large, in a constructive and respectful manner. Product Focused: Support development, verification, validation, and integration efforts from product definition to launch. Provide firmware specifications and product documentation. Self-Driven Execution: Willing to take ownership of tasks, meet deadlines, and drive for results. Innovative Problem-Solving: Tackle complex challenges head-on, finding creative solutions. Mentorship: Foster the growth of fellow engineers and instill a culture of continuous improvement. Quality Advocate: Ensure robustness, reliability, and security of firmware code. Understand and abide by company procedures and regulatory compliance.Qualifications :Bachelor's or Graduate's Degree in computer engineering, electrical engineering, computer science or engineering5-10 years of experience with firmware development, working with microcontrollers, embedded systems, RTOS, etcDemonstrated problem-solving capabilitiesComfortable using logic analyzers , oscilloscopes , and other test equipment for debugging, troubleshooting, and unit testingProficient in C/C++ Understanding of communication protocols such as SPI, I2C, UART, and CANExcellent communication skills and ability to inspire and motivate othersStrong sense of teamwork and working towards a common goal, a desire to leadFamiliar with source code managementExperience with Python and scripting languages is a plusIf youre a good fit for this role, we look forward to hearing from you!So how do you pronounce bioMrieux ?Maybe the easiest way to remember it is to say bee-oh-merry-you.#biojobs#LI-EB
