Position Title: Remote Workday Financials Engineer
Summary:
Vaco is conducting a confidential search for a Workday Financials Developer on behalf of a prominent organization within the healthcare services sector.
Compensation/Work Type/Arrangement :
Direct Hire, Salary Range: $120,000 to $160,000, potential annual bonus (discretionary), PTO, 401K matching, and ample opportunities for professional growth.Location: Fully Remote, but candidates must reside within the United States.No c2c: Third-party candidates, 1099, Corp-2-Corp or any sub-vendor/consulting inquiries of any kind will not be considered.Unable to sponsor: Cannot sponsor now or in the future.About the RoleVaco is conducting a confidential search for an experienced Workday Financials Developer to join the Financial Information Systems team at a leading organization in the healthcare services industry. This position is pivotal in ensuring the seamless operation and continual enhancement of the organization's financial systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both finance and IT, with extensive experience in Workday Financials.
Key Responsibilities
Workday Configuration & Deployment: Take charge of configuring and deploying Workday Financials, managing system releases, establishing rules, and performing validations to ensure reliable system functionality.Quality Assurance & Testing: Lead comprehensive testing efforts, both functional and technical, to ensure the financial systems operate smoothly in the production environment.Integration Development: Design and maintain seamless integrations between Workday and other internal financial systems as well as external third-party applications.Support & Issue Resolution: Act as a key support resource, working closely with finance and IT teams to resolve issues, provide solutions, and handle escalations in a timely manner.Process Enhancement: Regularly assess system performance, identify areas for improvement, and propose enhancements to boost the efficiency and effectiveness of financial operations.Data Management & Reporting: Create and maintain custom financial reports while ensuring the integrity and accuracy of data through regular audits and thorough data analysis.Qualifications
Experience: Extensive development experience with Workday Financials, focusing on configuration, system functionality, and integration management.Technical Expertise: Strong proficiency in Workday integration tools, including but not limited to EIBs, RaaS, and APIs, with experience in conducting XSLT transformations.Analytical Abilities: Proven track record of managing configurable Workday security groups and an in-depth understanding of data management, with advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.Communication & Organization: Demonstrated ability to work independently while effectively managing multiple projects, with excellent communication and organizational skills.Preferred Qualifications
Familiarity with PRISM Analytics and Adaptive Planning tools.Experience working with Workday Process Framework and Workday Extend to extend system functionalities.This role is fully remote, with candidates required to reside within the United States. the individual's skill sets, experience and training;licensure and certification requirements;office location and other geographic considerations;other business and organizational needs.
