Position - Linux IT Support engineer

Location -

Taylor TX / Austin, TX require limited travel to other sites.

Duration - Fulltime Position

8-10 + yrs experience and US Citizens are preferred• Familiar and experience with Linux OS - a must.• Familiar and experience with Virtualizations. - a must.• Familiar with Network switches and Firewall - Strong advantage.• Familiar with central storage system - Strong advantage.• Familiar with databases - ability to read and writes SQL queries - Strong advantage.• Familiar with Orchestration. Dockers and Kubernetes - Strong advantage.

Roles & responsibilities:• On site support engineer at customer facility or remotely from home.• Providing periodic, predicted support as Preventive maintenance and upgrades as scheduled with the team and/or external team.• Providing ad hoc, unplanned support, corrective maintenance. Identify issues, working with the teams till resolution.• Learn, practice, document and be well organized with all layers of work.• Be a team player. Working in a team, Global team that helps each other.• Be responsible. Take ownership.
