Description
The Sr. Infrastructure Services Engineer is responsible for installing, configuring, and monitoring the companies on premises and cloud infrastructure with a heavy focus on Microsoft Technologies and supporting infrastructure requirements. This Team Member will be responsible for identifying technical deficiencies in designs, developing solutions, and driving them to completion. The Sr. Infrastructure Services Engineer is expected to perform all responsibilities with a commitment to providing superior service to the core Company'semployees, supported Ventures,and maintaining an atmosphere of teamwork and continuous improvement. The role involves working closely with various stakeholders to obtain and carry out company initiatives.
Duties & Responsibilities:Manage various medium to large-scale, global, enterprise network topologies including designing, deploying, and maintaining both hyper-converged and standard three-tier architecture environments leveraging Microsoft and VMware virtualization technologies.Understand and Manage Wireless networks for remote buildings and our corporate officesDesign and deploy cloud infrastructure to support cloud migration and delivery of various technology solutions, including IaaS and PaaS models, using the full suite of Microsoft Azure resources.Ability to support, design, deploy, and manage Microsoft O365 Messaging and associated technologies.Ability to migrate on premise Exchange environments to Office 365 for new VenturesAbility to support and manage Office 365 users & Hybrid Exchange Server ConfigurationAbility to support, design, deploy, and manage OneDrive for Business and SharePoint EnvironmentsAbility to support and manage Active Directory 2019 and newer.Ability to support and manage key services including but not limited to DNS, DHCP, File ServicesAbility to support, design, manage, and deploy Azure Solutions and ServicesAbility to support, design, manage, and deploy Microsoft Intune solutions leveraging AutopilotDemonstrated knowledge of VMware (vCenter, ESXi, and Horizon View) a plusDemonstrated knowledge in the support of servers and operating systems Windows 2012 R2 and aboveUnderstanding of Veeam or other Backup and Replication technologiesUnderstanding of networking (IP, DHCP, DNS, data center switching)Ability to partner with Cybersecurity in Incident Response activities and identify root cause, patient zero, and assist with threat remediationUnderstanding of enterprise storage area networksWorking knowledge or Windows PowerShell scripting experienceKnowledge of Monitoring and Management Platforms for Event ManagementQualifications
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
Advanced knowledge Microsoft Active Directory and ADFS, Azure Sync, Group Policy and PKI componentsAdvanced knowledge of Microsoft Monitoring & Management systems such as SCCM and SCOM for Migration PurposesMicrosoft 365/Office 365 organization advanced management experienceProficiency in Microsoft Azure IaaS technologyProficiency with Microsoft Windows Server v. 2012 and aboveAdvanced knowledge of Hyper-V Fail-Over Clusters. VMware experience a plus.Knowledge of On-Premises Microsoft Virtual Desktop & Remote Desktop Server infrastructureHands on Experience and Proficiency managing Azure IaaS Technologies including but not limited to Tenants, Subscriptions, EntraID, Networking, Virtual Machines, and Resource GroupsBasic skills of the configuration of Firewalls, VPNs, and network switchesHands-on experience designing and building resilient modern technology infrastructure, including SASE and cloud architectures.10+ years in-depth experience maintaining and supporting technology solutions that utilize technical skills described above10+ years in-depth experience supporting and troubleshooting a multi-server windows On-Premises and Cloud Domain network environmentExperience working directly with technical engineers and application owners as well as nontechnicalend users
