As the IT Manager for Enterprise Reporting & Analytics, you will play a crucial role in advancing our organizations ability to surface data, insights, trends, and the implications to our business. You will be responsible for the design, delivery, and operationalization of key reports and actionable insights for stakeholders across the enterprise. This role requires a high degree of business engagement and tight alignment with enabling technology teams, including Data Platforms and Enterprise Applications, in a global delivery model. Key Responsibilities: Enterprise Reporting & Analytics Development Leads team of Reporting Engineers, Analysts, and SMEs to design develop and enhance reporting & analytics capabilities on enterprise data platforms. Manages the design and development of new reports, dashboards, and their associated dependencies & integrations with other systems and applications. Works collaboratively to advise on business decision-making through use of reporting, leading edge analytics, measurement of key performance indicators and early detection of opportunities, trends & anomalies. Proactively removes roadblocks and impediments for team. Implements and governs a common SDLC methodology applied to reporting & insights delivery, aligned with broader SDLC workstreams across enterprise application and data platform teams. Serves as a coach and mentor for junior members of the team. Troubleshoots and resolves software-related issues promptly. Collaborates with key vendors to implement integrations, updates and enhancements. Data Governance: Leads Data Governance team to refine and promote acceptable data use across the enterprise. Leads Strategic Data Board to facilitate enterprise stakeholder and partner alignment in leveraging data as an asset, and to advance maturity of data capabilities, practices, and discipline. Ensures compliance with data privacy regulations and company policies. Product Management Establishes and manages a common demand & intake funnel, prioritizing new requests against strategic priorities. Closely collaborate with customers of reporting and analytics teams to ensure functional requirements are defined and agreed upon. Proactively advances enterprise reporting & analytics capabilities through the lens of product-thinking, which can include Data Product definition, vision, roadmaps, and governing a healthy backlog. Collaborates with customers to gather feedback on improving data products. Identify opportunities for improvement and cost savings. Data Architecture Collaborates with enterprise architecture on data and information management governance including standards, principles, and strategies. Collaborates and promotes data architecture within the enterprise architecture framework. Project Management Demonstrated robust experience in effectively managing diverse projects and stakeholders. Responsible for overseeing the entire project lifecycle, from initiation to successful completion. Team Collaboration: Manage a global team of Data Specialists, Engineers, IT SMEs, and Reporting Experts. Manage vendors and engagements to enable key delivery of capabilities. Orchestrates cross-functional work to achieve outcomes. Produces and co-creates necessary materials for leadership. Budget Management: Develop and manage the budget for IT Enterprise Reporting, Analytics, and Business Intelligence. Track expenses, engage procurement for contract negotiations, and seek cost-effective solutions. Minimum Education: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience Minimum Experience: 5 years of IT management experience 7 years of IT experience developing and advancing Enterprise Reporting, Analytics, and BI capabilities Expert knowledge of one or more IT Data Domains Demonstrated management of one or more teams Excellent leadership, project management, vendor management, and analytical skills. Ability to communicate at multiple levels within the organization (internal & external) Experience managing budgets Experience managing vendors and/or employees Demonstrated ability to collaborate and resolve issues. Experience developing stakeholder relationships. Experience with IT frameworks (ITIL, PRINCE 2, TQM, Six Sigma, SCRUM, etc.) Passion for technology innovation with knowledge of industry best practices Ability to understand business needs and translate them to IT activities Experience with Transportation and Logistics industry vertical (preferred) Experience working with AWS data platform capabilities (preferred) In the state of Washington, all technician and driving positions, including but not limited to van drivers and any other position requiring employees to drive a company-owned vehicle, are considered safety-sensitive and are therefore subject to drug and alcohol testing, including cannabis.
