Apple's Manufacturing Systems & Infrastructure (MSI) team is responsible for gathering, consolidating and tracking all manufacturing data for Apple’s products and modules worldwide. This data is used throughout the company and the product's lifecycle, from the very beginning, to validate that units being built are fully tested and of high quality before leaving the factory, all of the way through to warranty support for customers. Apple's MSI team is seeking a Senior Software Engineer who possesses a real passion for developing extraordinary products with a deep appreciation for user experience. We are looking for a passionate and results-oriented Sr. Software Engineer to join our team and work on some of the highly visible data projects in Operations organization!

Description

• In this role you will lead design, build, and configure applications utilizing automation tools to meet complex business process requirements • Handle all advanced code requirements for automation development. Coordinate with application developers and database administrators on application programming interface (API) and database access requirements on behalf of the RPA team • Participate in process reviews to ensure the highest level of understanding prior to automation • Conduct unit and integration testing to ensure that RPA solutions meet functional requirements and quality standards. • Participate in code reviews and contribute to the development of coding standards and best practices • Develop and maintain documentation for RPA solutions, including technical specifications and user manuals • Generate regular reports on the performance of RPA initiatives and make recommendations for improvements • Provide insight to others as the technical subject matter expert on tools in use • You will have the opportunity to learn and work on the latest technologies, lead POCs to demonstrate new ideas and influence the future direction of our technology stack

Minimum Qualifications

7+ years hands-on Robotic Process Automation (RPA) development in Automation Anywhere 360

BS in Computer Science, engineering or related field

Key Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in Automation anywhere control room activities to include workflow queues, device pools, credential lockers, etc.

Experience in integrating RPA with external applications using APIs as required.

Experience in deploy, maintain, monitor and debugging RPA automations.

Experience with relational databases; SQL query development and testing.

Experience working with technical documentation; BRD, Design Specifications, and end-user documentation preferred

Strong software development, problem-solving and debugging skills with experience is required

Experience building applications public clouds like AWS, Azure, GCP and also Private data centers

Experience in crafting, implementing and supporting IT systems and process automation.

Adept at quickly grasping and distilling highly complex matters into clean, understandable solutions

Nice to have experience with Enterprise systems like SAP and Snowflake etc.

Nice to have experience with large data reporting and data visualization tools.

Nice to have Automation Anywhere RPA Developer certifications

Organized, detail oriented, and thorough in every undertaking

Ability to thrive in a multi-functional team on high profile, critical projects

Candidate should be able to initiate and explore alternate technology and approaches to solving problems.

Strong communication and Collaboration skills.

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $175,800 and $264,200, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs.
