We are seeking a Network & Cloud IT Administratorto join our team! You will handle a variety of projects to support and improve the organization's network systems. Join a growing business at Highway 9 Networks to Run & Build a 5G R&D Lab!
REQUIREMENTS Experience in networking & cloud/virtualization. Very experienced in networking (router/switch/VPN/firewall), system (Linux/Windows/Container) and applications. Having experience with VMware a big plus. Good trouble shooting/debugging skill
Responsibilities:
Lab Management, networking and virtualization (e.g. Firewall, Switches, Routers, DNS, DHCP server, VMware vCenter & ESXi) and all cloud services (e.g. AWS, GCP, Azure, docker hub)Maintain and harden all servers in lab, and control individual's access Provide HA in lab (e.g. redundant HW, etc)Manage all aspects of the networking platformIntegrate latest tools, radios & servers to Highway 9 environmentsTroubleshoot network & system issuesMonitor active network and server infrastructurePerform routine preventative maintenance on equipmentAdminister network security measures to prevent system interruptions or breachesExecute sensitive data backup and restoration proceduresDocument all technical procedures and user guidesQualifications:
Previous experience as a network or systems administratorKnowledge of TCP/IP and data protocolsAbility to prioritize and multitaskDeadline and detail-orientedStrong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills
