Position Overview/Responsibilities for the Cloud Engineer:Design, develop, and manage Redshift data warehouses to support business intelligence (BI) and reporting needs.Integrate Redshift with other AWS services such as S3, EC2, RDS, Glue, and Lambda.Optimize database design and performance for big data processing.Ensure data security, compliance, and maintain data integrity across all platforms.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and execute data strategies.Provide technical guidance and support to other team members.
Required Skills for Cloud Engineer:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, but candidates with exceptional skills and less experience will also be considered.All-round understanding of AWS Ecosystem and the ability to propose solutions to teams with little AWS knowledge.Hands-on experience with AWS Redshift, with an understanding of data warehousing concepts and SQL.Strong experience of implementing disaster recovery strategies for AWS solutions.Excellent communication skills and the ability to manage a varied workload efficiently.
