Responsibilities:Schedule
6:00am 2:30pm, with Tuesday and Saturday offThe RoleIn this position, the Ripening Assistant will be responsible for moving product within the ripening rooms and buildings and receiving/shipping areas while following a schedule. It is a fast-paced environment where the volume of inventory requires a high level of tracking and following proper procedures using the warehouse management system to maintain inventory integrity by following best practices.Job Duties:
Operates using Warehouse management systems and equipmentReceiving, QC, unloading inbound loadsForklift and Riding pallet jack operation to move product as needed to ensure inventory is available on time for shippingAssists other warehouse ripening areas when current tasks are completeMaintains a safe and clean operating work environmentWork independently
Qualifications:Required Experience:Must have intermediate English skills (reading/writing/speaking)Must have basic computer skillsMust have warehouse experience1+ years of experience working with forklifts (stand-up and/or sit-down)Previous experience with RF scanners in a warehouse environmentAbility to multi-task in a fast-paced environmentBasic math skillsInventory experienceCore Knowledge/Skills:Excellent time management and team working skillsCommitment to qualityStrong attention to detail and accuracyHear from Charlie's employeesSupplemental InformationThis employer participates in E-Verify and will provide the Social Security Administration and if necessary, the Department of Homeland Security with information from each new employee's Form I-9 to confirm work authorization.We do not provide H1-B sponsorships at this time.Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting.
