The Opportunity:

We are seeking a

Cloud

Architect

with a strong background in Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Kubernetes (GKE), and cloud infrastructure. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in automating operations, managing large-scale distributed systems, and optimizing cloud solutions. This role requires strong troubleshooting skills, scripting experience, and the ability to collaborate with development teams to design and deploy scalable, cost-effective solutions on GCP.

Responsibilities:

Implement comprehensive monitoring and logging solutions using GCP Logging and Monitoring.Troubleshoot and detect anomalies by searching logs and identifying issues.Automate GCP operations using scripting languages like Python or Bash, and GCP SDKs/APIs.Set up and administer GCP databases such as BigTable, Cloud SQL, and Cloud Spanner.Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated code deployment using GCP tools (Cloud Build, Source Repositories, Container Registry).Manage container orchestration and deployment strategies using Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE), including cluster management.Optimize GCP costs by monitoring resource usage, providing cost estimates, reports, and implementing cost-saving strategies.Collaborate with development teams to architect and support application deployment strategies using GCP services (App Engine, Cloud Functions, Cloud Run).

Requirements:

Strong expertise in troubleshooting and anomaly detection through log searches.Proficiency in scripting languages (Shell or Python).Experience with configuration management and Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) using Terraform.Solid understanding of Git, GitHub, JavaScript, and Regular Expressions (RegEx).Experience working with large-scale distributed systems in cloud or traditional IT environments (Linux/UNIX, Windows, networking, storage).Knowledge of core cloud concepts such as storage, compute, and networking.Ability to create and maintain technical documentation, including runbooks.
