About the Opportunity: Position Opening Digital Management LLC Security Engineer Full-time professional position headquartered in McLean, Virginia, with travel/relocation to unanticipated project sites within the US expected. Expected frequency of travel: Expected to travel to a client site in Washington, DC, at least once a week to perform job duties and may also work remotely from home if needed. Duties: Run tests and assessments to identify potential security vulnerabilities. Develop plans and procedures to safeguard and recover data. Enhance existing security with password protection, firewalls, and other tools. Install and maintain security software to protect data systems. Monitor systems, servers, and networks for any signs of incursions. Respond to data breaches and malicious malware attacks. Simulate data loss scenarios to evaluate the effectiveness of existing recovery plans. Collaborate with IT team to develop complex end-to-end Enterprise solutions with Cloud platforms. Provide technical support for directory services. Use ticketing system to document symptoms and status information as well as assign an applicable priority. Assist in modernizing efforts by planning and leading cloud architectures to deliver solutions for custom built hybrid cloud. Available for off-hours on call support or emergency support as needed.
Qualifications: Education/Experience Requirements:
Bachelors degree in Telecommunications or Computer Science field and 5 years of experience in the occupation or a related information security analyst role.
Special Requirements:
Five years of experience in information security utilizing the following tools/technologies: Tenable scanning tool, Cyber Security Assessment and Management (CSAM) application tool, Solarwinds SEM tool, Crowdstrike, and Carbon Black App Control. Three years of experience in information security working under the following US government security regulations and methodologies: FISMA, FedRAMP, and NIST special publications. Mail resumes to:
