Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Special Projects Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing various special projects within the organization, ensuring successful implementation and completion. This role requires strong organizational skills, effective communication, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Responsibilities:Manage all phases of various projects, including initiation, planning, controlling, executing, and finalizing.Provide oversight for designated operational tasks, which could be short or long-term projects.Research information pertinent to the project, identify available resources, and establish goals and desired outcomes.Develop realistic schedules with measurable tasks to ensure the project stays on track.Write and present reports on project progress, outcomes, and challenges.Oversee operations to ensure projects meet timelines, budgets, and resource allocations.Train team members and others in project-related issues as needed.Troubleshoot problem areas and recommend solutions to management.Coordinate with facilities teams to support the operational functions of FOHS OHCs.Assist with FOHS conference coordination and planning.Facilitate HHS SSC projects and processes.Manage acquisition processes and coordinate with orientation teams to revise and update orientation tools.Travel may be required to support project execution.Skills and Competencies:

Proven experience in managing complex projects from start to finish.Strong project planning, execution, and control skills.Ability to work independently and in a team environment.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.Proficiency in data collection, analysis, and reporting.Familiarity with process management strategies and methodologies.Ability to use content management systems for project documentation.Experience with budget management and resource allocation.Qualifications

Associate's degree in Administration, Project Management, or a related field.Certificate in Project Management is preferred.Five (5) years of experience in project management.Demonstrated communication and organizational skills.Strong problem-solving abilities.Proficiency in Microsoft applications, basic computer and website use.Familiarity with medical, science, and technology terminology.Excellent attention to detail and follow-through.Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Compensation - Min: $95,000/ Max: $115,000

This position is in the proposal stage, we are waiting to be awarded the project.

Pay range is based on several factors and may vary in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and other benefits. The final salary and offer will be determined by the applicant's background, experience, skills, internal equity, and alignment with geographical market data.
