Description:Solutions3 LLC is supporting a U.S. Government customer on a large mission critical development and sustainment program to provide support for onsite incident response to civilian Government agencies and critical asset owners who experience cyber-attacks, providing immediate investigation and resolution.
Solutions3 LLC is seeking an experienced and technically proficient
Information Security Manager III
to support this critical customer mission by performing investigations to characterize the severity of breaches, developing mitigation plans, and assisting with the restoration of services.This position requires support during assigned shifts, including nights/weekendsEligibility:
Must be a
US CitizenMust have an
active
TS/SCI
clearanceMust be able to obtain DHS Suitability prior to starting employment5+ years
of directly relevant experience in information securityResponsibilities Include:
Providing support to plan, coordinate, and implement the lab's information securityProviding support for facilitating and helping the lab identify its current security infrastructure and defining future programs, design and implementation of security related to lab systemsAssisting the efforts of security staff to design, develop, engineer and implement solutions to security requirementsResponsible for implementing and developing the DHS IT securityGathering and organizing technical information about the lab's mission goals and needs, existing security products, and ongoing programsPerforming risk analyses which also includes risk assessmentProviding support to plan, coordinate, and implement the lab's information securityProviding support for facilitating and helping the lab identify its current security infrastructure and define future programs, design and implementation of security related to lab systemsPossessing and applying expertise on multiple complex work assignments which are broad in nature, requiring originality and innovation in determining how to accomplish tasksHas the ability to apply a comprehensive knowledge across key tasks and high impact assignmentsPlanning and leading major technology assignmentsEvaluating performance results and recommending major changes affecting short-term project growth and successFunctioning as a technical expert across multiple project assignmentsRequired Skills:
Knowledge of Computer Network Defense (CND) policies, procedures, and regulationsKnowledge of defense-in-depth principles and network security architectureKnowledge of boundary protection and enclavingKnowledge of authentication and access management technologiesKnowledge of several of the following areas is required: Understanding of business security practices and procedures; current security tools available; hardware/software security implementation; different communication protocols; encryption techniques/tools; familiarity with commercial products, and current lab infrastructure technologyAbility to serve as an Information System Security Officer (ISSOMust be able to work collaboratively across physical locationsDesired Skills:
DHS experienceCybersecurity skills including threat huntingAdvanced knowledge of RMF frameworkExperience working ATO'sDesired Certifications:
CISSO, CISM, CISSPRequired Education:
BS Information Management, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related degree; or HS Diploma and
