Detroit Labs is looking for experienced Technical Architects with Security expertise to join an exciting project with an existing client that drives game-changing automotive technology. This role will work on connected vehicle services for customers owning vehicles with connected capabilities across the USA and Canada. These systems consist of several backend, frontend, and middleware applications. The systems integrate with the connectivity units inside the vehicle, and enable features like the ability to remotely start the vehicle, view parking locations, Alexa voice commands, and many more. This is a full-time salaried hybrid role located in Auburn Hills, MI. You must be able to work in the office a minimum of 3 days a week.Requirements8+ years in IT security, with 5+ years specializing in application security architectureDeep understanding of enterprise application architectures, microservices, and API security principlesStrong knowledge of OWASP Top 10, SANS Top 25, and other security frameworksExpertise in secure software development practices and Secure SDLC methodologiesProficiency in cloud security architectures (AWS, Azure, GCP) and container securityExperience with IAM solutions and federated authentication protocolsFamiliarity with DevSecOps practices and toolsStrong understanding of cryptography and key management systemsExperience with SIEM systems and log analysisKnowledge of relevant compliance standards (e.g., PCI DSS, HIPAA, SOC 2, ISO 27001)Detroit Labs is not currently able to hire candidates who will reside outside of the United States during their term of employmentResponsibilities
