Hill International is seeking a Document Controls Specialist in Queens, New YorkEnsure all Record documents are coded, filed, and distributed in SharePoint/PMIS.Ensure that all documents are delivered to AHJV standards.Provide document management support and training for SharePoint and PMIS.Identify Record documents; name/code, assign metadata and file accordingly.Perform distribution duties.Ability to manage SharePoint/PMIS support requests.Ensures conformance to AHJV standards and processes.Performs SharePoint and PMIS user on-boarding and off-boarding of project team members.Organizes and performs document management, SharePoint and PMIS training.Updates procedures, processes, guidelines, distribution lists and workflows. Creates documents asrequired.Maintains the electronic project records files in SharePoint.Interacts with client, Design Builder / Contractor, and project team to coordinate activities.Performs other related duties as business needs arise or as required.Provides backup administrative support as needed.

Bachelor's degree in related field is preferable6+ years industry working experience in areas of project controls, project administration, documentmanagement.Ability to work as a Team or individual to achieve goal.Experience using SharePoint as an electronic document management system for controlling andreporting project data.Experience & IT skills with interfacing electronic data management systems.Experience in the Engineering and Construction sectors.Ability to quickly learn and apply new concepts.Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technology.Excellent decision-making and practical problem-solving skills.Strong verbal and written communication skills.Attention to detail, accuracy, and documentation proficiency.Self-starter with a proactive approach to problem identification and resolution.Strong written communication skills including proven ability to create procedures and presentationsas well as routine interactions with project teams.Excellent data management techniques.Ability to work both independently and in diverse, across all functional teams.Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, identify critical tasks and establish priorities.Proficient with MS office applications.Working knowledge of Document and Information Management requirements across all phases.Working knowledge of Electronic Document Management Systems.High proficiency in Document Control IT tools, databases, and administrative procedures.The salary range for this position is $84,000.00-$114,000.
