Job Description:Splunk / Observability SMESplunk with AWS SkillsSplunk Observability Cloud, Splunk Cloud, AWS Architecture, Enterprise Monitoring, SRE.- Must to haveExperience with both the Unix and Windows operating systems; comfortable with the command line interfaceExperience with Infra, Mainframe and Mule Monitoring through Observability toolsExperience developing technical documentation to include architecture diagrams, user guides, white papers or product manuals5+ years of current experience in Application Performance Monitoring (APM) ImplementationExperience with implementing Synthetic monitoring, Real User Monitoring and Log based monitoring for applications.Experience with implementing any APM software (Splunk, Datadog, New Relic, Dynatrace or AppDynamics)Proficiency and demonstrable understanding in at least 2 of the following programming languages: Java, .NET, PHP, Ruby, Python, Node.JS, Objective-C, Java-DalvikExperience with automation/orchestration tools: Ansible, Puppet, Chef, TerraformProven experience working with container orchestration i.e. Kubernetes and DockerStrong experience with Cloud IaaS providers such as Amazon Web Services (AWS), Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Microsoft AzureExperience with enterprise monitoring systems i.e. Nagios, Elastic and SplunkExperience with serverless functions i.e AWS Lambda, Google Cloud Functions, Azure FunctionsExperienced and comfortable closely collaborating with Application teams to ultimately drive App Team-focused outcomes!Experience successfully leading global end-to-end process and technology transformation projectsWell organized and ability to meet SLAs!Familiarity with Agile work management and/or the ability to effectively communicate processes within and across teamsSelf-motivated, independent and self-educating, yet willing to stop, collaborate and listen with partner community and fellow SplunkersEngage directly with leading experts to co-develop innovative strategies that redefine how customers manage, monitor, and analyze their infrastructure, applications, and business servicesPartner with Application teams, including Product Management, Professional Services, Customer Success, Technical Enablement, Education, and SupportMaintain consistent engagement with all organizational levels, from executive leadership (C-suite) to technical staff (developers and Site Reliability Engineers), ensuring strategic alignment and operational executionServe as a thought leader in architecting innovative solutions to complex technical and business challenges involving multiple stakeholder groupsCommit to continuous professional development to keep abreast of the latest Splunk products, technological advancements, and industry standard methodologiesFoster a culture of teamwork, ensuring a two-way flow of relevant and timely information across the organization
