Description
RESPONSIBILITIES:
This position reports to the Program Manager. This position will develop and maintain schedules for clients in need of transportation. S/he will be responsible for the safety and welfare of all passengers. Assures proper maintenance of the vehicle, and maintains an ongoing log of mileage and clients being transported.
Will develop and maintain records retention procedure for clients charts and miscellaneous documentation. Will conduct outreach with various community services in order to maintain referral services. S/he will perform other duties as assigned by the Program Manager.
Qualifications
REQUIREMENTS : Must submit a Departments of Motor Vehicles driver's record. Must be bilingual (Spanish/English). Position requires a professional attitude and good interpersonal skills. Must be able to provide proof of COVID-19 vaccination & booster, TB test and Hepatitis B vaccination.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
Must possess a dependable automobile with insurance and a valid California Drivers License. Must submit to and pass a drug test and a criminal background clearance as a pre-condition to employment.
QUALIFICATIONS:
High School Diploma and at least two (2) years experience as a driver. A valid California CommercialClass C or Class B Driver's License with Passenger Endorsement is required.
