to join our clients onsite procurement and logistics team in Houston TX. This is a full-time onsite position with right-to-hire by the client.The Expeditor will be primarily working with the procurement and logistics team to identify urgent / critical orders, identify associated purchase orders to suppliers, and drive overall performance improvement from major suppliers.Responsibilities and DutiesTracks operational responsibilitiesHelps prioritize projects based on deadlinesDocuments process issuesPrepares progress reportsFacilitates implementation of need-based solutionsFosters strong internal and external partnershipsMonitors and maintains project and delivery scheduleStreamlines interdepartmental communicationRequirementsMinimum 2 years of expediting experience (preferred) ;
May consider supply chain, logistics or process improvement experience.Knowledge of process improvement principles such as Six Sigma, etc.Proficient in MS Office and other ERP systemsOutstanding written and oral communications skillsStrong interpersonal and organizational skillsDetail-oriented and analyticalBachelors degree (preferred); Associate degree and relative experience will also be considered.Benefits
