The RoleThe Website Designers' primary role will be to assist in building modern, responsive, and functional automotive websites and digital graphics. Working with other senior experienced technical and sales professionals, this role contributes by delivering visual comps, prototypes, and final coding/uploading/testing on our proprietary platform.

This candidate should be extremely detail-oriented, comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, and able to communicate clearly and effectively. The right candidate is a resourceful multi-tasker who loves designing websites and digital graphics that are functionally and visually appealing. This is a full-time, virtual position that works alongside a team of designers, developers, and project managers.

Major Areas of Responsibility:Produces conceptual design for Website Themes for Franchise and Independent dealershipsProduces customized website designs for New Accounts build teamMaintains compliance standards according to franchise branding specificationsPrepares files and assets for website support and digital marketing requestsCollaborates with internal and external clients and vendorsMonitors and manages Salesforce.com case activitiesCompletes miscellaneous activities as neededPrimary Objectives:

Produces high-quality creative designs for responsive websites and digital marketingProvides exceptional customer service for external and internal clientsSupports Operation's Production team's goals of efficiency, quality and on-time deliverySpecific Responsibilities of the Job:

Produces original Website Themes for Franchise and Independent DealersProduces website design templates for Sales and Build team useReviews and utilizes branding guidelines for franchise-based websitesDesigns and builds layouts for independent dealer websitesMaintain and update existing themes with current model year imagesImplement newly updated platform modules and functional toolsPerforms proofing and quality control checks on all components, including review for correct content, spelling, grammar, format, and requested changesProduces personalized website designs for New Accounts build teamParticipates in website kick-off and concept design meetings, if applicableConducts research for assets to meet component or project themeInterviews internal clients to understand creative assignment parameters and goalsTranslates design direction into creative solutions to attain project approvalPerforms proofing and quality control checks on all components, including review for correct content, spelling, grammar, format, and compliance standardsUses feedback to modify designs to attain project approvalExecutes Quality Control Checks for website post-launchProduces graphic design Website Support for all live websitesUploads, and/or manages assets including vehicle images, logos, advertising, video editing, etc. per franchise branding guidelinesAdheres to U.S. Copyright Laws and compliance standards when creating digital imagesApplies designated naming conventions, file formatting, corporate branding and co-op guidelines to components, where applicablePerforms proofing and quality control checks on all components, including review for correct content, spelling, grammar, format, and requested changesPrepares files and assets for Implementation for Websites and SEMCreates new or refines existing dealership logos for website useSupports website build process for graphics by meeting quality and load time requirementsStores completed component and project files as required by departmental SOPPerforms pre-implementation activities prior to delivery of files for new and existing websitesCollaborates with internal and external clients and vendorsProvides direction and/or information to dealers submitting client-supplied artwork for productionCommunicates design layouts with all clients or vendors involved to insure application compatibilityWorks with internal and external resources to resolve production spec and formatting issuesMonitors and manages Salesforce.com case activitiesManages case workload using Salesforce.com Case GridTakes timely action to investigate and resolve case-related issuesResolves cases within published service level agreement (SLA)Provides regular updates on case status using ChatterElevates ongoing issues to managerCompletes miscellaneous activitiesCreates and maintains standard operating procedure (SOP) documentation for specific jobs, programs or accounts supportedSupports testing of new systems, platform updates, products, or programsLeads and/or participates in team cross-trainingWhat You will Bring

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Degree or equivalent experience: AA or AAS in Graphic Design, Graphic Arts or Web Development; BA/BS/BFA plus two (2) years of on-the-job experience preferred

In lieu of degree, a minimum of four (4) years of experience in the digital marketing industry, ad agency, email, or website graphics environment, with a strong focus on website design, including one (1) year in the acting role of Senior Graphic Designer which includes the ability to complete all aspects of the job and cross-train othersExcellent understanding of design principles and branding standards applied to website architecture• Expert/Excellent skills working with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Acrobat Pro)

• Strong organizational skills for specific file types and asset management

• Experience in HTML/CSS and responsive website designs a bonus

General knowledge of SEO and SEM campaign design
