Position SummarySAP Infrastructure Leader will be responsible for the end to end ownership of the SAP Architecture. The role includes implementation, deployment, support and administration SAP and integrated systems. This individual will be using manual actions and a wide variety of automation tools to perform the job. The individual will be responsible for developing and documenting application landscapes, policies, procedures, standards, and templates for system administration tasks as well as for implementing projects. Will own issue resolution and troubleshooting for multiple environments and applications. Pro-actively put procedures in place to prevent and reduce the severity of outages.Participate in production support activities and work to resolve technical issues with technical know-how with clear communications and root cause analysis. The role will also work and support the offshore SAP Basis Administrators to support SAP operations.

Job responsibilitiesSAP Database Maintenance and Support

Work collaboratively with various application management and project teams.Responsible for the implementation, service level and life-cycle management of Enterprise Solutions' Portfolio of SAP and non-SAP Applications.Responsible for the entire application landscape of multiple applications including maintaining the development and quality assurance environments.Enforce company change control policies, patch management and information security standards and procedures.Manage and maintain our SAP systems, including SAP S/4HANA 2022, GRC, GTS, MII, APO, SCM, SAP R3, ECC and ancillary systems ensuring high availability, scalability, and optimal performance.Establish database High-Performance Analytic Appliance (HANA) Support Package Stack (SPS) SAPRegularly check for security updates and collaborate with SAP to apply the patchesSupervise HANA database replication to primary and secondary Disaster Recovery (DR) sitesWork with SAP to ensure full, incremental, and log backups of the database is performedPerform HANA database upgrades and patches, as required in coordination with SAPMonitor HANA database performance and adjust configuration parametersMaintain HANA database transport landscape, including: Creating virtual HANA host names in Domain Name System (DNS), adding Hypertext Transfer Protocols (HTTPs) web dispatcher entries, using virtual host names for HANA application lifecycle managementEnsure correct installation of HANA systems and perform routine maintenance to keep the database in optimal conditionProvide recommendations for necessary hardware, operating system, and database updates, as neededCentral database administration with DBA CockpitSAP OS Maintenance and Support

General OS administration and troubleshootingOS level User and access managementFilesystem administrationSAP S4 HANA Conversion, Implementation and Support

Strong knowledge and experience in S4 HANA readiness check on existing ECC landscape, including custom code remediation prior to conversionDesign strategy for preparing existing SAP addons and third-party addons for S4 HANA conversionExpertise in maintenance planner for calculating S4 HANA conversion patches and dependenciesProvide regular operational support for S4 HANA system post-migrationExperience in at least two end-to-end S4 HANA implementation or conversion projectsExperience in integrating S4 HANA system with GRC and Business WarehouseImplement and maintain custom code lifecycle management module for ABAP system landscapes to improve governance and streamline upgrades and patchesPerformance Monitoring and Troubleshooting

Apply performance monitoring mechanisms using SAP best practicesUnderstand the object and version level of details on SAP objects to troubleshoot and identify appropriate functional and technical teams for further analysisAnalyze EWA reports and implement performance optimization measures based on the findingsMonitor and troubleshoot long-running background jobsOptimize expensive Structured Query Language (SQL) statements by identifying and collaborating with the Application teamSAP Systems Refreshes, Client Copies, Application Upgrades and Patches

Perform SAP client copies and system refreshes as part of quarterly schedules in collaboration with SAPImplement SAP Landscape Management (LAMA) to optimize SAP client copies and post-refresh tasksTeam Management

This position is responsible for leading a team of Basis administrators to effectively deliver the ongoing maintenance while also supporting the application teams with the development of enhancements to Vibrantz's SAP landscapeThis position will be responsible for the managing an existing team of two (2) Basis administrators that are responsible for the 24x7 ongoing maintenance/support while assisting with the delivery of current corporate projectsProvide leadership and technical direction to team members and consultantsRequired Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or similar preferred.10+ years of SAP Basis Administration experience with several SAP versions (such as SAP S/4 HANA, ECC, FIORI, GRC), ideally on the SAP S4 HANA platform.)Experience and knowledge about SAP architecture and landscapeInstallation, upgrades, and migration experiencePractical security & authorization knowledgeGood OS level & DB administration skillsVery good orientation in SAP products & platformTechnical issues resolving skills (in cooperation with SAP and other technical teams)Performance & high data volumes aspects knowledge in administration areaStrong scoping/estimation, problem solving, troubleshooting and technical experience with the ability to root cause application issues.Expertise delivering across all phases of delivery: requirements gathering, assessment, design, configuration, testing, cutover, and support.Work remotely with the tools which facilitate collaboration and ability to travel to office when needed for connecting with the team.Preferred Qualifications

SAP S/4 HANA certification is preferredKnowledge on storage infrastructure and setup for HANA.Experience performing deep troubleshooting, archiving, partitioning and infrastructure setup.Willingness and ability to learn, execute proof of concept of new solutions like BTP, AI/ML and innovations.Fluent in English, including excellent verbal and written communication skills.The capability to plan for and manage small remote teams.
