Lead Data Developer/Data Architect
Location: Johnston, RI (onsite/ Hybrid)
Duration: Full time/ Contract
Roles:Build a frameworks of principles to ensure data integrity across the business (including but not limited to ERP, CRM, BI, Data warehouse, external interfaces etc.)Ensure that the Data Architecture strategy and roadmap is aligned to the business and technology strategies.Apply Best Practices in creating and maintaining Data, Data Pipelines(Ingestion, curation, ETL), Data Lakes, Data Sources, Databases & Artifacts on AWS CloudBuild and maintain appropriate Enterprise Architecture artefacts including; Entity Relationship Models, Data dictionary, taxonomy to aid data traceabilityProvide technical oversight to solution delivery in creating business driven solutions adhering to the enterprise architecture and data governance standardsBe an advocate of data security principles and ensure appropriate security practices are embedded in any data strategyBe an active contributor to how the bank evolves Data Governance practices and influence the adoption of data standardsDevelop key performance measures for data integration and qualitySupport third party data suppliers in developing specifications that are congruent with the Enterprise data architecture
Skills:10+ Years of experience in creating data pipelines with ETL, Ingestion and Sanitization (preferably on AWS Cloud for at least 3 years)Proficiency in Data Modelling, Managing data in Structured, Unstructured & Semi-Structured form.Working proficiency with big data and data pipelines On-Prem, On-Cloud (AWS)Expertise in Java, Java Spark (Good to have pySpark)Exposure to Apache Airflow for Data WorkflowsExposure AWS Data Services like, AWS Redshift, EMR Serverless, Amazon S3, LakeFormation, Glue, AthenaData Integration experience with data Streaming (Kafka, AWS Kinesis)Good understanding of Data SecurityExposure to Data Analytics with Power BI, Grafana.Good to have:Exposure to TalendPythonSagemakerTablueauWebFocusMainframes with Cobol exposure
