OverviewTo research, evaluate, design, implement, and maintain system and product solutions, applying expert knowledge of engineering principles. Lead the coordination of activities between multiple disciplines within the business and vendors on both technical and non-technical issues pertaining to Salesforce, nCino tailored to the financial service industry. To provide technical direction and engineering support for projects and infrastructure. Develop and maintain expert functional knowledge of evolving IT engineering industry technologies/competition, concepts, and trends. Cloud Engineering: Delivery of the computing services and the duties associated with it such as designing, planning, administering, developing, or maintaining applications in Salesforce. Considered subject matter expert and a key stakeholder/key contributor on highly complex initiatives and project teams. Conduct complex work assignments under general direction.ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements, objectives, and processes related to the credit union domainDesign comprehensive and scalable solutions for Salesforce eco system that align with industry best practices and regulatory compliancePrototype and troubleshoot solutions in lower sandboxes to showcase new functionality and issue resolutionUtilize expertise in Salesforce and nCino capabilities to configure and customize the systems for the credit union's lending departmentConfigure objects, workflows, reports, and dashboards to optimize processes and enhance user experienceEstablish and enforce architectural principles, standards, and guidelines for Salesforce and nCino implementationsConsider security, data governance, and scalability requirements, providing guidance to the appropriate teams and ensuring adherence to gold standardWork closely with Business Solution Owners, Business Solution Analysts, and other stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutionsConduct regular meetings and presentations to communicate design, progress, and risksCreate and maintain comprehensive documentation of the Salesforce and nCino architecture, including functional specifications, technical designs, data models, and integration workflowsEnsure documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and accessible to relevant stakeholdersProvide technical leadership and guidance to development/administrative teams, ensuring successful delivery of Salesforce and nCino solutionsMentor and coach junior team members, promoting knowledge sharing and continuous learningStay updated with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in the credit union and financial services domain utilizing design thinking and potential optimization of technologyLeverage this knowledge to drive innovation and recommend improvements to the Salesforce eco systemLead functional and technical workshops, demonstrating leadership and communication skills in designing, delivering, testing, and deploying solutionsServe as a trusted advisor to the Salesforce Platform team, driving conversations internal stakeholders to shape the architectural vision and establish a program architectural roadmapManage user expectations and negotiate solutions to complex problems with all stakeholdersEstablish trust with business leaders, promoting and implementing standard processes via SalesforceDevelop sophisticated business processes using native Salesforce Industries technology and integration toolsProactively highlight and manage risk areas in solutions, committing to see issues through to completionAdheres to and complies with applicable, federal and state laws, regulations and guidance, including those related to anti-money laundering (i.e. Bank Secrecy Act, US PATRIOT Act, etc.)Perform other duties as assignedQualificationsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or the equivalent combination of training, education, and experienceMinimum of 7+ years of experience with Salesforce Solution ArchitectureProven experience as a Salesforce Engineer, with a focus on nCino financial service applicationsProficiency in Apex, Visualforce, Lightning web components, and other Salesforce development toolsExcellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholdersExtensive experience demonstrating critical thinking and problem-solving abilitiesExtensive experience in negotiating and influencing decisions with stakeholdersExpert knowledge with data modeling, integration patterns, and API developmentExpert knowledge with Identity and Access Management/Integration SecurityExpert knowledge with Sharing and VisibilityExpert knowledge and understanding of platform security standards and best practices within financial servicesExpert knowledge and understanding of DevOps and change management processExtensive experience with Triggers, Lightning Flows, and experience with modern web and mobile technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Web Components, others)Extensive experience with Agile software development practices including Scrum, JIRA, Peer Review, Git and CI/CDDesired QualificationsSalesforce certifications: Salesforce Administrator, App Builder, Certified Application Architect or Salesforce Certified System ArchitectExperience with Domains - Credit Union and Financial ServicesExpertise in User Journey preparations, User Story reviews, Data Modeling, Apex Design Patterns, and other modern UI techniquesProduct knowledge and experience - Data Cloud, Financial Services Cloud (FSC), nCino - Commercial + Consumer LOS and Treasury ServicesExpert knowledge of Navy Federal products, services, programs, policies and proceduresHours:
