• Under general supervision, performs routine to complex nuclear medicine procedures utilizing radioactive materials and radioactive pharmaceuticals in accordance with established nuclear medicine guidelines and protocols. • Performs radionuclide imaging of organs, organ systems, compartments physiologic functions, assays of body fluids, tissues and radio bioassays. • Demonstrates and applies knowledge of Nuclear Medicine imaging. • Demonstrates and applies knowledge of principles of radiation safety. • Prepares and positions patient for procedure by using established Nuclear Medicine protocols to achieve the highest quality image. • Follows protocols specified by the radiologist. • Educates patient, collects patients’ history, and communicates patient information to the radiologist. • Enters complex data into the computer systems. • Reviews, verifies and evaluates images to ensure technical quality and image quality. • Performs other duties assigned.

Shift Times: 7-330pm Required certifications: NMTCB or ARRT and California Department of public health NMT
