Job Summary:We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Medical Surgical/Telemetry team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in patient care, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work night shifts, weekends, and holidays.
Requirements:Minimum 2 years of RN experience, including 1+ year in Medical Surgical/TelemetryCurrent WV or Compact RN license (pending license acceptable)BLS and ACLS certifications (American Heart Association)
Responsibilities:Provide direct patient care in a Medical Surgical/Telemetry settingAssess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient careCollaborate with interdisciplinary teams to achieve patient outcomesAdminister medications and treatments as ordered by physiciansMaintain accurate and detailed records of patient care
Preferred Qualifications:Experience with cardiac cath, angiogram, and related proceduresFamiliarity with Cerner charting system
Additional Details:Patient ratios: 1:5 (may vary to 6/7 to 1 in cases of staff shortage)100-mile Radius Rule (75-99 miles may be approved by facility)
