TravelComputer systems: eChart (electronic charting system); SIS, MAK, O.R.Storz 1 Video and routing equipment.Surgical Equipment: Storz Video equipment, Midas; Stryker drills; Leica Microscopes, Storz morcellator; Foce Triad Cautery machines; Force FX cautery machines; Aquamantys machines; Ostemoed drills; Sani Serve fluid warmer/cooler.Surgical Beds/positions: Jackson spine tables; Jackson fracture tables; Tenent positioner; Skytron and Getinge O.R. beds.
3. Required skills and minimum years of experience.Associate s Degree in Surgical Technology REQUIRED as of 6/25/2024.2 years minimum experience in busy surgical area required.Must have STRONG experience in 3 to 4 of the following areas:- General: robotic and open procedures- GYN: robotic and open procedures- Urology: robotic and open procedures- Vascular: cartorid, AAA, hybrid cases, open procedures- Robotics: Davinci XI- Ortho: Fractures, total joints- ENT: pediatrics, T&A s, BMT s, parathyroid, thyroid, neck, ear, sinus procedures- Some dental and plastics
4. Specific licensures and certifications/registrations required:CST preferredBLS required
5. Shift or schedule requirements:There may be some Call depending on volumes
6. Floating to other units/departments:May float to West campus.
7. Bed size/number of rooms for this unit/dept.:7-room surgical suite
8. Dress Code:Scrubs will be provided, no shoes with holes
9. Tell us about the unit/department specific training and orientation program.Week 1 - ask them to hand on everything possible , starting with cases they will see most often on their shift.Comments: MUST have an Associate s Degree in Surgical Technology - NO EXCEPTIONS. CST, certificate programs, and program diplomas will not suffice.
MUST meet all Position Requirements.
0700-1930 +/- 30 minutes. Call required. Some weekends and holidays required. Float to West Campus as needed (approx. 3 miles from East Campus)About Rock Medical Group
