TravelUnit Notes:START DATE: 10/7Department: Xray/CT Tech- General Certification Requirements: BLS/ WI license- Certs/ARRT & other specialty certification requirements: ARRT X-ray/ CT preference.- How many scanners/rooms does this department have: 1 main CT scanner, 1 backup CTscanner, 2 general x-ray rooms, 4 C-arms in OR.- Will they have to float/cover any other areas: We do provide C-arm coverage in the ORs. Notuncommon.- Common types of imaging/studies performed & Job Duties: General x-ray, CT servicenothing unusual really.- Experience: Must be independent in x-ray and CT and be comfortable with Siemens equipment.Must be able to work independently. 1 year of experience. Prefer previous travel.- Average # of scans/studies per day: Varies could be 5 one day and 40 the next day. 25000-26000exams per year, 7000 if these are CT.- EMR &/or PACS used: PACS: Phillips, EMR: EPIC.- Department Specific Equipment: Mostly all Siemens.
