Patients per day: 10-15 CVICU/step down patients, plus 1-2 surgeries·

Special Procedures: temporary pacemaker removal, chest tube removal, IABP removal, Aline placement·

Minimum Experience Required: 3 years in cardiothoracic surgery with EVHGraduate from a university program approved by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants ( NCCPA) - RequiredOrMaster's Degree in Nursing- RequiredCertification & LicensuresCertified or certification eligible by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).- Required*Licensure or eligible for licensing as a Physicians Assistant in the State of Arizona– Required*ACLS and BLS (American Heart Association)- RequiredOR*Graduate from an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner Program – Required*Completion of a RN/NP First Assistant Program- Required*Current unrestricted Arizona APRN license- Required*Medical Surgical or NP ANCC or AANP Certification- Required*ACLS and BLS (American Heart Association)- RequiredCredentialing Timeframe:
