Job Title:** Registered NurseJob Specialty:** TelemetryJob Duration:** 13 weeksShift:** Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:00)Guaranteed Hours:** Not specifiedExperience:** Minimum 1 year; first-time travelers not acceptedLicense:** GA or Compact license requiredCertifications:** BLS, ACLSMust-Have Experience with arrhythmia management, cardioversion, cardiac CHF, chest pain, renal, and pulmonary conditions Experience with cardiac drips and hemodynamic monitoring Basic arrhythmia knowledge Proficiency in using Epic (preferred), Pyxis, SBAR systems Experience with post PCI care and everything under the Med/Surg umbrellaJob Description Patient population includes adults to geriatrics Manage overflow IMCU, arrhythmia management, and cardioversion Care for patients with conditions such as CHF, chest pain, renal, and pulmonary issues (COPD, emphysema, pulmonary edema), PE, and DVT Handle cardiac arrhythmias including stable A-Fib, SVT, and bradycardia Care for surgical patients including cholecystectomy, appendectomies, chest tubes, and biliary drains Occasional care for vascular patients, post-cardiac cath, and DKA May encounter occasional ortho or CVA patients; transfer these patients to appropriate units promptly Experience with cardiac drip medications such as amiodarone, cardizem, dobutamine, dopamine, nitroglycerin, milrinone, heparin, argatroban, aggrastat, bumex, and lasix Ratio/Census: 1:5-6; 32-bed unit Adhere to the scrub color code: Navy Blue Floating requirement within the facility Weekend work required every other weekend Holiday work required based on assignment duration Requires full compliance with documentation and scheduling for labs within specified timelines Orientation: 13 hoursThis opportunity offers a dynamic and supportive environment for skilled nurses in telemetry, ensuring a comprehensive patient care experience.
