Design, develop, and maintain mainframe applications using COBOL and other programming languagePerform analysis, testing, debugging, and troubleshooting of mainframe software applicationsCreate technical documentation and user manuals to support mainframe applicationsCollaborate with project managers, business analysts, and other developers to deliver high-quality software solutionsStay current with emerging trends and technologies in mainframe developmentRequirements
Bachelors degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related fieldAt least 5 years of experience in mainframe application development using COBOL and other programming languageStrong knowledge of mainframe operating systems, such as z/OS and z/VSEExperience with tools such as CICS, JCL, VSAM, and DB2• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skillsStrong communication and interpersonal skillsIf you are a self-starter who is passionate about mainframe development and thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity
