Pioneer Healthcare Services is seeking an experienced Skilled Nursing Facility SNF Physical Therapy Assistant PTA looking to travel to Porterville, CA for a 13- week assignment. Skilled Nursing Facility SNF Physical Therapy Assistants that work for Pioneer Healthcare Services are dedicated individuals looking to pave a new way in travel healthcare. The ideal Physical Therapy Assistant PTA will have at least one year of experience, although new grads are encouraged to apply. Responsibilities of a Skilled Nursing Facility SNF Physical Therapist Assistant PTA: * Assist the Physical Therapist in providing physical therapy services according to the patient's individualized plan of care * Assist in the implementation of appropriate treatment plans and carry out related programs and activities * Instruct patients and families in appropriate care and use of braces, crutches, canes, prosthetic devices, and wheelchairs * Report any changes in the patient's condition to the Physical Therapist * Perform other relevant duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Physical Therapist * Documentation is completed in a timely, complete, legible, concise and accurate manner Qualifications of a Skilled Nursing Facility SNF Physical Therapy Assistant PTA: * Physical Therapy Assistant PTA Licensure or eligibility for licensure in the state of work assignment * Minimum of one year experience as a Physical Therapy Assistant PTA preferred, although new grads are encouraged to apply About Pioneer Healthcare Services : We are a San Diego-based staffing and recruiting travel company for exceptional nurses and therapists all over the U.S. We can help forge a new path towards schools and healthcare facilities.
