*Application is now closed for this role, please view other opportunities or submit your CV in the form below.My client, a leading global strategic advisory firm is looking for a Vice President of the Policy Insights team.The VP, Policy Insights will lead a team, engaging senior policy makers in Congress, at a State, Local and primarily Federal level.Clients span across Technology, Financial Services, Trade, Energy and Healthcare, and they rely on the expertise knowledge of a highly experienced team bringing decades of experience in business, government, communications, research, technology, and media.The VP of Policy Insights is a senior role responsible for leading a team in developing and executing a company-wide strategy for policymaker engagement.The RoleDevelop and cultivate relationships with policymakers participating in the company’s researchBuild awareness and trust with policymakers on the HillLead efforts to retain past research participants and grow its network of new policymakersServe as “the face” of the team, externally to policymakers, and provide the “voice of policymakers” internallyEstablish partnerships with relevant caucuses, associations, networks, and entities to encourage the growth of the reach across policymakersPlay a key leadership role on the External Affairs and Policy Insights teams through managing and partnering with team leaders to develop and achieve strategic objectivesPartner with team leaders, providing guidance and support on hiring, professional development and management of teamsIdeal Candidate7+ years’ experience engaging senior federal policymakers, with deep insight into the needs and interests of federal policymakersA minimum of 3 years of recent experience working on Capitol Hill, at a senior levelRelationship-builder: Proven ability to develop relationships with influencers at all levelsCommunication: Truly exceptional communication skills, written and verbal;Experience developing persuasive messaging and effective communicationsAgility: Ability to act and react quickly and flexibly in a fast-paced environment, with ability to thrive in ambiguous, entrepreneurial and dynamic environmentsExperience working in advocacy, fundraising, or political campaignsIf you have the relevant experience and this opportunity sounds interesting to you, please get in touch with a copy of your CV as soon as possible via the form below.
