Job Overview:We are looking for a
Desktop Support/Workstation Engineer
responsible for the support, installation, and troubleshooting of hardware and software issues on desktop and laptop computers. The role involves setting up and maintaining network and telecommunications systems, troubleshooting LAN, server, and connectivity issues, and utilizing a ticketing system when necessary. The candidate will perform data migrations, restorations, and remote problem-solving as required.Key Responsibilities:Provide hardware and software support for desktop and laptop computersInstall and deploy Windows and Apple-based computersSet up and maintain network and telecommunications systemsTroubleshoot LAN, server, and connectivity issuesUtilize ticketing system for incident trackingRe-image computers and perform data migrations and restorationsConduct remote problem-solving when requiredTrain end-users on technology usageSkills & Qualifications:Working knowledge of hardware components and configurationsStrong software experience, particularly in deploying Windows and Apple computersExcellent customer service skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and vendorsExcellent documentation, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skillsStrong organizational skills and oral communication abilitiesAbility to work well in a team-oriented environmentSelf-motivated with the ability to prioritize and work with minimal supervisionFlexibility to adapt in a fast-paced environmentAbility to train end-users on technical systemsAdditional Information:Location:
