to join their team immediately.We are currently seeking a
Cloud Data Engineer
with a strong foundation in Python, API integrations, Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS), and SQL. This role is pivotal in designing, implementing, and optimizing our cloud-based data solutions to improve data accessibility and drive insights that support strategic decisions.This is a contract role that offers a hybrid work schedule!Responsibilities:Design and implement efficient data pipelines and architectures in cloud environments using Python.Develop and maintain APIs for data integration and consumption across various cloud services.Contribute to the design and implementation of pipelines and databases.Utilize Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS) for data integration, transformation, and management to ensure data quality and accessibility.Perform complex data queries and manipulations using SQL to support analytics and business intelligence efforts.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver scalable and secure data solutions.Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize data storage and retrieval performance in the cloud.Adhere to data governance and security policies.Provide expertise on cloud data technologies and best practices to team members and stakeholders.Document all processes, models, and activity flows thoroughly for clear communication and future maintenance.Stay current with industry trends and developments in cloud data services and technologies to incorporate into potential solutions.Experience:3+ years of experience in a cloud engineering role, with a strong focus on data-centric projects.Proven expertise in Python programming for data manipulation and automation.Solid experience with
Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS)
and other cloud-based ETL tools.Proficient in designing and developing APIs for robust data integration.In-depth knowledge of SQL and experience with relational and non-relational database systems.Strong analytical skills and the ability to work with large, complex data sets.Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the capability to work collaboratively in a team environment.Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.A proactive and innovative approach to solving technical challenges.Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.MMD Services Inc. is an equal opportunity employer.
