Interior Designer.
Founded in 1982, we are a mid-sized firm located in Boston's North End, focused on the Life Sciences and Technology communities. We are a dynamic, fast-paced firm serving a market at the forefront of breakthrough discoveries. VIVO is proud to be a partner in our clients' success.Qualifications:Bachelor of Architecture or Interior Design degree.Minimum 10 years of experience.Solid knowledge of AutoCAD/Revit.Exceptional graphic and rendering skills, preferably with Adobe Creative Suite.Demonstrated high-quality design skills, passion for design excellence.Ability to interpret a client's program and develop space plans.Proficiency with furniture layout concepts.Selection and specification of interior finishes and furniture, and knowledge of material application and detailing.Experience interfacing with clients, consultants, and contractors.Ability to self-motivate and work independently, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and work on multiple projects and deadlines.Excellent graphic and written communication skills.Strong verbal communication skills with the ability to present ideas in a clear and thoughtful manner.Excels in a team environment.Responsibilities :Reporting to Director of Interior Design, Interfacing with Firm Partners and Principal.Develop space plans & interior design concepts.Create and deliver client presentations, prepare renderings and presentation materials.Research, source, and specify interior materials, hardware, lighting, appliances, and plumbing fixtures.Contribute to the preparation of construction documents and project deliverables.Provide clear communication and collaboration with project team members to meet deadlines and project completion.Construction administration, including site visits, RFIs, control samples, shop drawings, and punch lists.We offer a competitive benefits package and compensation that commensurate with experience.The firm prides itself on respecting a work/life balance, and fostering a positive and inclusiveteam environment.See us atForward resumes and portfolios to Matthew O'Brien via email:
