Role:Oracle DBALocation: Alpharetta, GAHybrid Onsite: 2-3 days onsite no weekend work is involved.Duration: 12 MonthsWork Authorization: No restrictionsInterview rounds and process: Only virtual interviews.Note: NO developers Please, Looking for DBA (Database Admins)Expertise with MS SQL or ORACLE as DBAWith strong experience in LinuxScripting knowledge is good to have Ansible, Python, Shell will be big plusDay to day activities, Patching working, Deploying new patches.Veritas Clustering is good to have.Oracle, Oracle ASM, MS SQL Server is mustTera bytes, Financial bg is good to have but not a hard stop as long as they are expertise as DBA no need of any financial baground.No need of creating triggers, big pages of procedures, only they will be doing administration work related to Database.Minimum 5 years of experience is must.Sybase is good to have.Rack is nothing but Oracle clustering.If the candidate is having only Exadata will not work if they have other skills along with Exadata will work for this role.Responsibilities.- Experience with Replication including setup, troubleshooting issues and failovers- Monitor all systems (work processes, users, system logs, short dumps, locks, developer traces, system traces, disk space, etc.).- Ensure production uptime service levels are maintained and made available per requirements that include backup, recovery, refresh, performance tuning, and security- Provide data cleansing services, verify data integrity, and implement access controls- Provide routine maintenance including problem defect analysis and resolution, space, storage, object management, physical database layout, rollback segment management, and temporary space management- Experience with Schema creation, deployment and maintenance- Experience with Setting up and configuration of Auditing, audit trails- Carry out recovery of databases in an event of log full, system crash Troubleshoot issues related to the installation for our supported platforms- Should have knowledge of Disaster Recovery setup and maintenance- Automation using shell-script, python, Ansible, go, etc. Performance & Tuning Related Expertise- Experience with Performance analysis, monitoring of SQL queries and platform specific tuning.
