The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing, implementing, and managing scalable and secure cloud network infrastructures across multiple cloud platforms, including Azure, AWS, and GCP. You will leverage Aviatrix for multi-cloud network architectures, optimize network performance, and ensure robust security standards. As a Senior Cloud Network Engineer, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams and provide mentorship to junior engineers while driving innovation and best practices in cloud networking.Key Responsibilities:Design and Implementation:Assist in designing, implementing, and managing scalable, secure, and highly available cloud network architectures across Azure, AWS, and GCP environments.Ensure the seamless integration of cloud networking components, enabling efficient and secure cloud solutions.Cloud Networking:Configure and manage cloud networking components, such as VPCs (AWS), VNets (Azure), Subnets, Peering, Load Balancers, Security Groups, Network ACLs, and VPNs.Oversee the design and deployment of hybrid and multi-cloud network architectures, ensuring optimal performance and connectivity.Aviatrix Implementation:Design and deploy multi-cloud network architectures using Aviatrix, leveraging its advanced features to enhance cloud connectivity, security, and performance.Optimize Aviatrix deployment to meet specific business and technical requirements for seamless cloud integration.Performance Optimization:Monitor, analyze, and optimize cloud network performance to ensure minimal latency, high throughput, and seamless user experience.Implement performance tuning strategies and monitor SLAs to maintain network efficiency.Security Implementation:Implement and maintain robust cloud network security best practices, including IAM, encryption, VPN, firewalls, and compliance with relevant regulatory standards.Lead the configuration of security features such as multi-factor authentication (MFA) and single sign-on (SSO) to ensure secure access across cloud environments.Automation & Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC):Develop and maintain infrastructure-as-code (IaC) scripts using tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, and Deployment Manager to automate network provisioning and configuration.Ensure automation processes adhere to best practices and enhance the efficiency of network infrastructure management.Troubleshooting and Problem Solving:Diagnose and resolve complex cloud network issues, providing rapid, effective solutions to minimize downtime and ensure service reliability.Conduct root cause analysis and recommend improvements to prevent recurring issues.Documentation & Knowledge Sharing:Create and maintain detailed documentation of network configurations, processes, and procedures to ensure operational efficiency.Facilitate knowledge transfer and provide training to stakeholders on cloud network solutions.Collaboration:Collaborate with cloud architects, developers, and other stakeholders to design and deploy cloud solutions that align with business requirements and technical standards.Serve as a subject matter expert on cloud network architecture and guide cross-functional teams in implementing effective solutions.Mentorship:Provide mentorship and guidance to junior network engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning, technical excellence, and knowledge sharing.Lead by example in adopting emerging technologies and promoting industry best practices.Required Experience:5 to 6+ years of solid experience in cloud network engineering, with demonstrated success in building and supporting multi-cloud environments (Azure, AWS, GCP).Expertise in implementing Aviatrix-based multi-cloud network architectures, with hands-on experience in deploying its advanced features.Strong background in cloud networking (VPCs, VNets, Subnets, Peering, Load Balancers, Security Groups, Network ACLs, VPNs).Extensive experience in designing and managing cloud solutions, including migration from on-premises to cloud environments.Skills:In-depth knowledge of cloud architecture and networking in multi-cloud environments (Azure, AWS, GCP).Proficiency in infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, and Deployment Manager.Strong understanding of cloud security best practices, including IAM, encryption, and regulatory compliance.Expertise in network performance optimization, troubleshooting, and automation using scripting languages.Familiarity with multi-factor authentication (MFA), SSO, and security protocols in cloud environments.Secondary Skills (Nice to Have):Experience in cloud architecture, infrastructure design, and DevOps principles.Proficiency in scripting and automation for infrastructure management.Preferred Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.Relevant certifications in cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) and Aviatrix Certified Engineer (ACE) preferred.Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to collaborate with technical and non-technical teams.Proven leadership and mentorship experience.
