Supply Chain ManagerYour role and responsibilities
In this role you will be responsible for deployment of the continuous improvement strategy for our Electrification Services business in Florence, SC. This includes promoting a culture of continuous learning and improvement while ensuring the approach and strategy deployed at local ABB unit level is aligned with the global strategy.You will mentor and coach to achieve operational excellence and drive improved results. You will also use your expertise by deploying and leading projects to improve and sustain local business performance.This is an on-site position based in Florence, SC.You will be mainly accountable for:*Escalating to relevant stakeholders, as necessary, to remove roadblocks that prevent the successful implementation and adoption of continuous improvement initiatives at local level and helping facilitate cases of conflicting priorities in collaboration with cross-functional teams.*Using various systems and tools, along with your analytical mindset, you will develop interactive dashboards that provide insights and visualization into performance relative to KPIs, projections and historical performance.*Facilitating significant improvements with respect to safety, quality, delivery, inventory, and/or cost targets, meeting customer and stakeholder commitments in collaboration with local leadership.*Providing training support by developing and maintaining training modules and toolkits aligned with business needs in collaboration with management at local level.Qualifications for the role
Bachelor's degree in business, operations management, or a related field from an accredited college or university preferred, however candidates with commensurate experience in continuous improvement and supply chain will be considered.Minimum 2 years of experience in supply chain with experience in ERP systems and tools.Lean Six Sigma belt or equivalent strongly preferred.Sound knowledge of continuous improvement and end-to-end supply chain in the electrification services preferred.Knowledge of MS Office (specifically Excel), Ariba, Celonis, Power BI, Sales force, etc. preferred.Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.More about us
