The Physical Therapy Assistant's primary function is to perform selected physical therapy procedures and related tasks under the direction and supervision of a registered Physical Therapist.The Assistant will treat patients with modalities and exercise in accordance with patients' medical needs and with an approved treatment plan and will understand their limitations as an assistant.The assistant will assist in maintaining the department in a neat and orderly manner.The assistant will complete all documentation of daily notes and discharge data.Patients cared for may include infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adult, and geriatric.Job Requirements
Recent traveler experience - highly preferred.Work History Skills Checklist, current to 1 year, pertinent to the specialty.2 Supervisory Reference Forms, taken within the last two years.Schedule Information
Orientation - Allied and Therapy Travelers start orientation on Tuesdays.Nursing Travelers start orientation on Thursdays.Unit Specific Information
Comanche Specific Policies: No increased rate for OT, Holiday, and Call-Back.Rebate - This client has a rebate of 1% of all billings related to this assignment; passthrough expenses are not subject to any rebates.Call Policy - On Call paid out at $2 per hour with 1 Hour Minimum.Additional Details
Will accept new grads.Profile Requirements: Licensure & Certifications (OK State License or compact & BLS - AHA).Candidates' Permanent Address (Facility will consider local candidates at a reduced rate).
