We are currently seeking an intern for our Natrona Heights, PA operations in our procurement department.

Essential Functions:

Data analysis / decision support

Data / market based strategy development

Developing / delivering communications to customer plants and suppliers

Development of long-range capacity planning for outside processing suppliers

Support technical qualification of potential new suppliers

Deploy and support project management processes on selected projects

Compile and refine company data sets for easier inter department and BU reference

Assist in the preparation of sourcing data reports, purchasing documentation and contracts

Assist in bid evaluation and pricing / cost analysis

Requirements:

Currently attending a 4-year accredited university with a major of Supply Chain Management, Business, or related field.

Preferred Requirements:

Capability or interest in assessing and improving supply chain activities involving the planning / movement of product to outside suppliers (i.e., capacity studies & debottlenecking), and

Capability or interest in Vendor and Customer Relationship Management, deal formulation and contract negotiation across various spend categories.

Capability or interest in interdepartmental communication and engagement
