responsibilities:Responsibilites:

Design, install, and configure database systems to support business applications.

Develop and implement database models, structures, and architecture.

Monitor database performance and optimize queries and indexes for efficient data retrieval.

Analyze and resolve database performance issues.

Implement and manage backup and recovery strategies to ensure data integrity and availability.

Perform regular backups and test restoration processes to ensure data can be recovered.

Establish and maintain database security policies and procedures.

Manage user access and permissions to ensure data confidentiality and compliance.

Plan and execute data migration projects when upgrading or moving databases.

Ensure data integration between various applications and databases.

Provide technical support for database-related issues and serve as a point of contact for database inquiries.

Troubleshoot and resolve database errors and failures.

Maintain detailed documentation of database configurations, procedures, and policies.

Generate reports on database performance, usage, and compliance for management review.

Work closely with developers, system administrators, and other IT staff to support application development and deployment.

Participate in database-related project planning and execution.qualifications:
