Xcelerate Solution is seeking you as our next TS/SCI cleared Appian Software Integrator / Low Code Developer supporting DIA-NMEC under our 10-year DOMEX Technology Platform (DTP) contract. You will work closely with Systems Engineers, Software Engineers, Architects, and Operations Engineering/Manager on a broad scope of activities extending across the development of systems to include backend and frontend software engineering tasks. While most work is conducted on-site at our client location in Bethesda, MD, we offer a flexible schedule and, occasionally, some tasks may be performed remotely. Percentage of remote work will vary based on client requirements/deliverables. Responsibilities:Work with a team of system integration engineers to successfully deploy release candidates to production environment.Participate in test, staging and production deployment.Assist in the maintenance of services and procedures for a big data pipeline which includes Kafka, Elasticsearch, and several in house written python/java micro services running on KubernetesIntegrate Docker containers using Kubernetes, Rancher, Helm and other DevOpsSec integration toolsMonitor automated system integration tests to identify failed modules and componentsManage individual project priorities, deliverables, and deadlinesFoster an environment of collaboration with the different team members in the goal of providing quality service and product to our customerMinimum Requirements:Typically requires Bachelor's Degree and 4-8 years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 2-6 years of prior relevant experienceMust possess an Active Top Secret/SCI clearance and ability to obtain and maintain PolyExperience with AppianExperience with Appian Self-Assembling Interface Layer (SAIL)Experience with containerization, especially with DockerExperience with DevOps practices and tools including Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) tools and practices, especially Gitlab or JenkinsExperience with Agile practicesDevelopment and/or scripting experience, especially Python and BashStrong verbal and written communication skillsEnthusiastic with the ability to work well on a team and a self-starter who can work on their ownPreferred Qualifications:Experience with systems at scaleKafka or other message passing systemsExperience on a production/ enterprise systemCloud infrastructure experienceExperience with any of the following technologies:
Kubernetes monitoring, e.g., Prometheus/ GraphanaGPU-based KubernetesSALT for deployment automationElasticsearch, Kibana, and Logstash, specifically admin experienceHelm and HelmfileCloudera usage, including Kafka topic creation/management, Zookeeper, Solr, and FlumeNexus
